The Technical Instructors Training Institute (TITI)
The Technical Instructors Training Institute (TITI) is regarded as one of the fundamental pillars of the Middle Technical University (MTU) due to its specialization in teaching the subject of educational techniques in technological specialties. The institute encompasses several departments, including:
- Mechanical Techniques
- Electrical Techniques
- Electronic Techniques
- Power-Mechanics Techniques
The TITI was established in 1987 in the city of Baghdad, in the Zaafaraniya region. Due to the increasing numbers of students, it introduced evening studies in 1995.

The institute has several strategies aiming to qualify and develop national workforce teams in technical and professional fields based on the labor market requirements, contributing to sustainable development. It is committed to:
- Providing technical and professional training programs tailored to the quantitative and qualitative demands of the labor market for both males and females.
- Raising awareness in the Iraqi society about the importance of technical and professional training.
- Conducting necessary research and projects to keep up with technological advancements and global trends in the field of technical and professional training.
